More light for the camera, in very short exposure windows.
The HiCATT is an optical accessory that attaches to the camera to intensify the incoming light. Its gating exposure control makes it possible to work with very short time windows. The configuration of the intensifier and the coupling lenses must be chosen according to the sensor and the spectral range of the experiment.
INTEGRATION
Coupled to a high-speed camera.
In the photo, the HiCATT is coupled to a Phantom VEO 410S as an example of integration. The HiCATT is an intensifier accessory and needs a camera to record the image; the camera in the photo is not included.
